About

My approach to therapy is psychodynamic with integrative interventions tailored to client needs. I meet my clients where they are and seek to help them reach their full potential. I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. I aim to foster a collaborative and strengths-based approach, working alongside my clients as they navigate their mental health journeys. I utilize evidence-based interventions, tailoring my treatment plans to meet each individual's unique needs and goals. Throughout the therapeutic process, I encourage self-care practices and provide psychoeducation, empowering clients to develop healthy coping mechanisms and skills to manage their mental health more effectively.

My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative, racial justice allied, and covid conscious.

As a therapist, I truly enjoy working with clients who are motivated and understand that therapy is a process. These individuals demonstrate a willingness to actively engage in their own growth and healing. They recognize that therapy is not a quick fix, but rather a journey that requires patience, commitment, and consistent effort. They come to sessions with an open mind and a desire to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Their motivation and understanding create a strong foundation for our work together, allowing us to cultivate a collaborative and productive therapeutic relationship.
